What We Provide
- Self-hosted home server hardware and software
- Installation, setup, and configuration
- Technical support and maintenance
- You own your data and your server
What You're Responsible For
- Using the server legally
- Securing your data (we help, but ultimately it's yours)
- Backing up your data (we strongly recommend this)
- Not using the server to attack others or break laws
Important Limitations
"As Is" Service
We provide powerful tools, but can't guarantee perfection. Hardware can fail (covered by warranty). Software can have bugs (we help fix them). Internet can go down (not our fault).
Third-Party Software
We use open-source apps (Nextcloud, Immich, Jellyfin, etc.). We don't control those apps — they have their own licenses. If they have bugs, we'll help but aren't liable.
Data Loss Protection
You must back up your data. We're not responsible for data loss. Hardware fails, accidents happen. Keep off-site backups of important data.
Liability
If something goes wrong, our maximum liability is what you paid us in the last 12 months. We're not liable for lost profits, business interruption, or indirect damages.
Exception: We're always liable for gross negligence or intentional harm.
Not Liable For
- Your internet going down
- Power outages or electrical damage
- Hardware failure beyond manufacturer warranty
- Issues caused by modifying the system yourself
- Third-party software problems
- Data you failed to back up
Support
Included
- Initial setup and configuration
- Troubleshooting Logout-installed services
- Help with system updates
- Hardware replacement (under warranty)
Not Included
- 24/7 emergency support (unless purchased separately)
- Apps you install yourself
- Advanced programming or development
- Recovering data you didn't back up
- Issues from modifying our setup
Your Rights
You can: Use the server however you want (legally), modify configurations (at your own risk), cancel service anytime, request data deletion, own all your content forever.
You can't: Resell Logout services without permission, use the server for illegal activities, attack other systems.
If Things Go Wrong
- Talk to us first — we'll try to fix it
- If that fails, binding arbitration
- Small claims court is always available
Governing law: New Jersey, USA.
Termination
You can leave anytime. Keep your hardware and data. You're responsible for your own maintenance after.
We can terminate if: You violate terms, use the server illegally, don't pay for services, or abuse our staff.

Our promise: Provide powerful self-hosting tools, respect your privacy and data ownership, support you when issues arise, be honest about limitations.
Your promise: Use the server legally and responsibly, maintain your own backups, secure your data, accept that technology isn't perfect.
